Military Overnight Rooms

Flyers Inn at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee

The new number is (413) 593-5421.  Rates are $39 for a standard room and $48.25 for a Distinguished Visitor's Suite.  The DV suites generally are reserved for senior officers.  Both rooms include the usual TV & DVD player, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron.  They also include a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker and a table and chairs.  The DV suites include a couch, recliner, USA Today, and honor bar with drinks and snack food as well.  Those items are available at the front desk for people staying in regular rooms.  The base is only a 15 minute drive from Springfield.  They have an all ranks club with food and drink most days either in the bar or the dining room.  In addition there are several local and chain restaurants in the immediate vicinity.  Retired Military GSA's can also bring guests on base.  Last year I took my son and his friend and was able to get an additional room no problem.
